This may surprise you, that I am telling you this, but did you know that not all life and wellness coaching services are the same? There are currently no national requirements or standards to be a life or wellness coach. There is a National Board for Health and Wellness Coaching, which many insurances require a coach to pass their exam in order to provide services paid by insurances. So what does that mean for you? Dixie is currently pursuing certification through the NBHWC, but in the meantime she offers 20 years of experience in the mental and behavioral health field. Dixie holds a Master’s in Community Counseling and is a trained wellness coach through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition.
